tipps

• important -----> when using a regular square aio (sides not curved in) the board touches the frame. as a result, softmounting is gone! I put standoffs under the normal ones in order to raise it above the frame. hence the long screws.
• the antenna needs to be fixed (around the housing, not the cable) to avoid oscillation windup when using a tight tune
• prop screws need to be 7mm in this motor/prop combo. 6mm only barely has one rotation for grip and 8mm might touch the windings. I've used nylon screws for weight, but I realized there's no need to tune wise and they break often. I shorten the metal screws by hand.
• in order to prevent breakage I put dabs of hot glue on every point where the struts meet the ducts as well as in the space where they meet
• in conclusion, the petrel85 frame is much stiffer than the mobula8, therefore it tunes way better. it also has more room around the props so you don't have to constantly bend the ducts around in order to prevent the props scratching them up. durability is about the same or slightly better than the mobula8.
